Crafting Excellence Since Day One

What Sets Us Apart From Our Peers?

Reduced Angel Share

Maximize your yield from every barrel. ADK barrels experience up to 50% less evaporation (Angel Share) compared to other barrels on the market. That means more yield and better flavor retention for your spirits.

Proprietary Charring Technology

Achieving a consistent and accurate char is key to defining the flavor profile of your product. While other’s control char level using time, we use temperature. Since all wood is unique, we use laser precision to ensure the barrel is being charred to the same level every time. We also char our barrels horizontally, allowing for greater consistency across the entire barrel.

Fire Bending & Hand Toasting

The sugars in the oak need to be released slowly to create the rich flavors you expect. That’s why we hand toast and fire bend every barrel - to unlock the complex flavors only time can produce.

Always Air Dried

Kiln dried wood affects the amount of, and distribution of sugars across the wood. Like your spirits, we know wood needs time to mature and settle into its final form. That’s why we hand select, air dry, and age our wood to exceed our customers’ standards.

Tailored to You

Work directly with our master cooper to find a barrel that achieves your desired outcome. Customize your char level, branding, bung location and more. Whether you make whiskey, wine, or even kombucha we have barrels that’ll exceed your expectations.

More Than a Number

Our partners rely on our barrels to produce some of the finest wines and spirits on the market. To provide an exceptional experience, we keep our production low. That means every order is meaningful and is treated with the same level of respect, no matter the size.
